The Writer has called in airstrikes in other games, The Player marks a locations, then seconds later a big explosion, in this game you get to watch as a massive thousand story tall transformers marches into the battlefield, call in an airstrike and The Player get's the unmatched joy of watching as the cannons on said thousand story tall Transformers shoulders l aunch a salvo of cannon fire that streaks across the skys of cybertron to pummel any hapless grunts you targeted with said aistrike. There are brand new weapons now as well, The Writer's favorite weapons are the scrap maker and the glass cannon. The Writer must inform the reader of this review that The Writer is a massive Transformer fan but will do their best to be unbaised as possible, now onto the review The Combat a vast improvement over the prequel War For Cybertron, enemies will take cover and flank now which makes for difficult but very rewarding combat. The co-op campaign mode from War for Cybertron has been removed, but players can still create their own Transformer and join up to 11 others for a variety of online multiplayer modes.Ī vast improvement over it's prequel in nearly every way.
Each level is tailored to a character's specific skills, resulting in 3D action, shooting, bombing, flying, melee combat, and even stealth missions.įall of Cybertron includes an expansive arsenal of weapons, and gamers can stop at stations around each level to log into the in-game computer network Teletraan and purchase weapon upgrades, power-ups, and permanent ability perks. Players can control a variety of familiar Transformers from each side of the battle, including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream, and each character can dynamically transform from robot to vehicle at any time. Xbox 360 gamers get a glimpse of the final days on the Transformers' home planet as they take part in the brutal civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
